This sea of pink was created for a work colleague's birthday, I was given free rein with the design and had fun putting them together...I love pink!
Friends of mine recently had a surprise wedding at a beautiful down south beach location. I was asked to make a 'birthday cake' but made sure I picked up an appropriate topper as we were 99% sure it was going to turn into a wedding.
Had issues with this cake, the top tier was meant to be a nice dark purple but of course the fondant I had was dry and kept cracking...I attempted to cover the cake with it twice before I had to give up as I was ruining the ganache underneath. Luckily I had purple gel colour that I used with white fondant but of course couldn't get the same shade I wanted...oh well! The bride and groom loved it all the same which is the most important thing.

And lastly my first attemp at gluten free cupcakes! A friend asked me to make gluten free carrot cupcakes for her engagement party so this was my trial...and OMG so yummy! I have made them twice since and the party isn't until next weekend haha!
They are very healthy...until you put the cream cheese icing on :)
